Take Care festival is a result of a dialogue between the artistic platform Karavana and the members of fransiscan order based in Prague. Several works of Czech visual artists, lectures and performances were reacting to the Pope Francis’ appeal from his second encyclic, Laudato si, “On care for our common home“. This project will take place on the Prague summer art festival m3/Umění prostoru. Spatial structure will be constructed on public space of the Karlin district, traditionally civic urban area and now evolving part of the 21st ct Prague.
Weakness as something worthwile. We have spent five days discussing, designing and building plydome structures on our Digital Autumn Workshop 2016, organized by our zero-order architecture design collective and studio Basics. Our participants were architecture & civil engineering students and graduates from University of Pisa and Politecnico Milano.
Here are outputs from the ‘Struktury a plo(e)chy’ workshop I have attended. It was held by Rheinzink (CZ) at Faculty of Architecture, CTU Prague and we were tutored to design and develop a small scale structure with their material, equipment and know-how.
