informed transformations

A space that is informed by its users needs and transforms accordingly. Renovation of vacant modernist towers near Rotterdam proposes a responsive inhabiting strategy for people with diverse family statuses. The living situation and needs of the users are gathered and processed into data, displayed in an interactive platform and distributed amongst the users. Then a transformative geometry is generated, following user's future intentions, and regulating algorithmically the collective and private spaces. Within this system, users are able to communicate, negotiate, extend, shrink or even move the space that they inhabit, gradually to another location.
